WELCOME TO THE OREGON ASTROLOGICAL ASSOCIATION
The O.A.A. is a regional association of professional, non-professional and student astrologers serving the astrological community in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Each year from September through June, we offer a series of quality lectures and workshops given by well-known professionals, practitioners, and educators. Members are also invited to a number of social events during the year to promote camaraderie and community. We welcome all those interested in the study of astrology and look forward to seeing you at the meetings and lectures.
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Greetings, We're upon the vernal equinox, even though Portland's been in bloom for a month already! What new beginnings are you planning to be in tune with the times? Welcome to the new members who have joined this past year. It's encouraging to see new faces. To all the members, let us know what topics and speakers you'd be interested in this next year so we can do our best to bring them to you. I'd like to honor Mars Hazen (9/16/34-1/21/10) who contributed much to the OAA and astrological community. She was very active in the OAA early on, including serving on the board. See her life story in the 2/14/10 Sunday Oregonian. She was an animal lover, so the OAA made a donation in her name to the Humane Society. You can honor Mars by petting your dog/cat/etc. right now. I hope you enjoy the great speakers we have coming up. See you there and at the Astrofaire.
