The Lunar Nodes: Gateway to the Soul

Where have we come from? And where are we going? Of all the symbols in astrology, the Lunar Nodes offer some of the most immediately useful and life changing information. Just knowing your birth date, or someone else’s, gives you tremendous insight into your spiritual path and the evolutionary journey of others. This evening we’ll discuss the importance of the Lunar Nodes -- the great gifts and challenges they detail -- and how we can directly apply that knowledge in our own lives, in our relationships, and in helping others fulfill their potentials and life purpose.

Workshop Saturday February 18, 2012 from 12-4pm

Learn how to unpack the tremendous amount of information encoded in the Lunar Nodes and in your own chart. Whether you are new to astrology or a long time professional, you’ll leave with valuable insights you can apply in your own life and also share with friends, partners, family, and clients. In this workshop we’ll use participants charts and experiences to explore the Lunar Nodes through the 12 signs and houses. We’ll see how signs, houses, and aspects to our Lunar Nodes detail what has supported and influenced us in the past, and the kinds of activities and environments which will foster the evolution of our consciousness now. We’ll discover how the Lunar Nodes also reveal significant innate abilities as well as obstructive tendencies, and how we can resolve long standing issues by balancing and integrating their polarized signs and houses.

Bio: Stephanie Austin, MA, has been a professional astrologer since 1986, specializing in life purpose, vocation, and relationship readings. Her background includes a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a master's in Consciousness Studies, and a lifelong involvement with nature, meditation, and the healing arts. Stephanie writes the New and Full Moon column for The Mountain Astrologer Magazine, and is the author of two eBooks, EcoAstrology: Finding Our Way Home and Life After Twinkies: A Holistic Guide to Dietary Change. In the past two decades, the translations of dozens of astrological texts from the Hellenistic, Arabic, and Medieval periods have sparked a renewed interested in traditional astrology and precipitated a renaissance in astrological thinking. This seminar helps students practically apply the material introduced in Part 1, including the basic doctrines, definitions, and terminology, and ways to apply these concepts to the mindset of the modern person.
